About Us

Welcome! Full Throttle Bottles is a specialty beer and wine shop located in the historic and industrial chic neighborhood of Georgetown. Specializing in unique and unusual alcoholic beverages from across the country and around the world, we’ve been told Full Throttle Bottles is a welcome addition to the neighborhood. “It’s about time!” is a common refrain.

With over 600 types of beer (with more coming every week), we provide a selection from pale lagers to extreme IPA’s. Not to be ignored is an impressive Belgian and Trappist Ale selection. Both local and national craft beers are represented including multiple gold medal champions. The International selection includes brews from 6 continents (we are still waiting for Antarctica!) because beer unites the world. And because it’s Georgetown, of course we have PBR!

You’ll find an intriguing selection of wines almost all under $30. There is also a wide variety of uncommon “Tuesday night” wines in the $6-$13 range. With an array of varietals that range from the “Majestic Merlot” to the “Splendid Syrah” you will always find a bottle to please even the most particular palate. We carry an impressive International selection of vintners, while highlighting the bounty of Northwest wines. A distinctive selection of ports, sparkling wines, dessert wines, and champagne round out the collection of grape generated concoctions.

Because Erika is an Anglophile, cider is like mother’s milk. There is an impressive and ever growing selection of hard ciders ranging from the very sweet to the very dry. This includes styles from unfiltered scrumpy to French sparkling ciders. And not to be missed is our budding collection of meads and honey wines from around the world. Lastly, for those of you preferring a hangover-free experience, we carry a variety of rare and hard to find specialty sodas.  We have an impressive selection of Ginger Beer for those of you in search of spice.
